Volunteer Expectations
The Squamish Pirates Swim Club is a volunteer-run organization, and our swim meets rely on the support of our families.
To help ensure meets run smoothly, we ask that each family volunteers for a role or shift at every meet their swimmer attends. There are a variety of roles available, and no prior experience is needed. We provide training and support for all volunteers, including those who are new to swim meets, so you can feel confident stepping into any role.
Your involvement is essential to creating a positive and successful experience for all swimmers—thank you for being part of the team. Please complete the form below. If it doesn’t load right away, try refreshing your screen.
Stroke and Turn Clinics
Natasha Wrenshall will be leading a Stroke & Turn Clinic during the Mini Meet on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. While the meet is underway, the clinic will take place in the Tantalus Room beginning at 5:15 pm.
This session will provide a quick overview of the key components of officiating, helping us build our team of certified officials in preparation for our home meet in May. Growing our group of officials—especially parent volunteers—is essential to support the club now and ensure strong succession for the future.
No experience is necessary—we encourage all interested parents and volunteers to attend!
The North Shore Winter Club are also hosting a clinic on Saturday May 3rd. Sign up below if interested.
