The OCat Competitive Swim Program is designed to develop swimmers both in and out of the pool. Athletes participate in structured swim training, dryland, goal setting, skill development, and swim meets throughout the season. Our program focuses on building strong swimmers, confident competitors, and well-rounded athletes while fostering commitment, teamwork, and a positive team environment.
All swimmers require coach approval for placement in the OCat competitive prrogram and will come from our BCSSA stream.
BCSSA Program Overview
Our BCSSA program offers swimmers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn, develop, and enjoy swimming in a fun and supportive environment. During the winter, swimmers train twice per week, with groups ranging from our Minis, who are just beginning their swimming journey, to competitive teen swimmers who are ready to challenge themselves in the pool. As swimmers progress, they develop stronger swimming skills, confidence, fitness, and an understanding of competition. Swimmers also have the opportunity to continue training and competing throughout the summer, making BCSSA a great pathway for swimmers looking to stay active, build skills, and enjoy the sport year-round. This option is great for our multi-sport athletes.
