Code of Conduct & Ethics
Sets the standards of behaviour expected of everyone participating in club activities, including expectations around sportsmanship, respect, safety, integrity and ethical conduct.
Athlete Protection Policy
Establishes expectations for maintaining a safe sport environment, including appropriate interactions, the Rule of Two, communications, travel, changing areas, photography and physical contact.
Refund, Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
Outlines the club’s requirements for withdrawals, refunds, cancellations, credits, payment deadlines and other financial matters related to participation in club programs.
Discipline & Complaints Policy
Describes how complaints and alleged violations of club policies or standards of conduct are reported, reviewed, investigated and resolved.
Alternative Dispute Resolution Policy
Outlines the club’s approach to resolving disputes through negotiation, facilitation and mediation where appropriate.
Appeal Policy
Establishes the process, grounds, timelines and responsibilities for appealing certain decisions made by the Squamish Pirates Swim Club.
Team Travel, Expense & Chaperone Policy
Establishes expectations for club travel, including athlete and coach conduct, supervision, chaperones, transportation, accommodation, safety and travel-related expenses.
Fundraising & Sponsorship Policy
Provides guidelines for fundraising, sponsorships, donations, grants and other activities undertaken by or on behalf of the club.
Club Credit Card Usage Policy
Establishes requirements for authorized use of club credit cards, including permitted purchases, approvals, documentation, reconciliation and card security.
