Daniel Russell - Assistant CoachHello Pirates! I am stoked to be a taking the role of Head Coach. Swimming has been part of my life since I was 12. I have swam with several clubs including the Cruisers, Chena and the West Vancouver Otters. I attended UVIC for 2 years, during which I swam with the varsity team. This fall I will attend SFU to study computer sciences.

My swim career has been loaded with ups and downs. My most recent accomplishment was attending the Olympic trials for London 2012 in Montreal. I hope to pass on all that I have learned through my career in the pool and look forward to doing my best to share my experiences.

It is going to be an excellent season for all of our swimmers, Go Pirates!

Sarah Dale- Assistant Coach

Hey Pirates! I am really excited to continue coaching this summer. This is my 9th year with the Pirates (I still swim too!). I started swimming to cross-train for soccer but I loved swimming so much that soccer became my cross-training.

I really enjoy sharing my experience and I hope that I can help swimmers really appreciate and love swimming the way I do. I understand the challenges and can work to overcome them.

I know this will be a great summer and I look forward to helping you improve and meet your goals!
